Forty nine nurseries, childrens centres, schools, after-school and kids clubs, are also receiving awards in categories including quality assurance, development and training, creativity, play opportunities and special projects.
Lesley Fox-Lee, Head of Brent Councils Early Years service, says: Childcare in Brent is characterised by its flexible nature and by the professionalism of our childcare providers. These awards give us an opportunity to acknowledge and champion excellence in delivering childcare provision and to recognise the commitment made by the profession in supporting parents and community regeneration.
There can be no better investment than in the future well-being and development of our children and young people and the winners of these awards have clearly demonstrated that commitment.
